Even though EA FC 25‘s Grassroot Greats wasn’t exactly the kind of promo leaks led us to believe, one standout thing about the event has been the grind. You don’t have to cough up a significant amount of Coins — or any at all — to have a solid chance to pack many special cards, all thanks to the Grassroot Grind SBC.
It is not unlimited like the 82+ x20 we had during Team of the Year — you can still grind the pack 50 times daily! The best part about the challenge is that it requires only a full bronze squad to complete a single run. Of course, getting enough bronze to complete all 50 of them isn’t super easy, but they are affordable if you’re looking at the right place.
Here’s how we suggest going about the grind and further recycling it.
Best Ways To Farm Grassroot Grind Pack SBC In EA FC 25

Unlike other SBCs in the past, you don’t have to worry much about fodders for Grassroot Grind in EA FC 25. Even with zero bronze stock and bad luck, you won’t need more than 2,200 Coins to complete it once.
The first thing to do is the usual SBCs in Daily Bronze and the new Super Daily Bronze Upgrade. Then, if you already haven’t, buy the Touch Grass Pack in the shop for 10 Coins. All three of them will fetch you ten or so completions.
You’ll now be down to your stock, but what if you don’t have many? The only two options you have are the Premium Bronze Pack for 750 Coins in the shop, or buying players individually through the Transfer Market. Among them, the Premium Bronze Pack is better than using the Transfer Market.
You get at least three bronze players in the Premium Bronze Pack — often 4 and, other times, more than 6. Other non-player items can be sold for anything around 150 to 300+ Coins. Even if we pick an average of 200 in refunds and the minimum pull of three, you’re buying one bronze card for 180-odd coins.
Compare that to the Transfer Market, where you have to sit through an individual bid for 150 Coins and many times hit Buy Now for 200. Sure, it doesn’t sound bad, but remember, we assumed the least probable outcomes for the pack. In our own experience of opening hundreds of these, we got better returns than the market. Many packs had more than five cards or refunded more than 300 through non-player items.
We’ve packed a TOTW player even, which can be sold for 15,000-plus coins on the market. There is also a good chance to get a Bronze Pack within the Bronze Pack. This makes the pack a better choice if you’re here for a longer haul. Plus, if you get any duplicate bronze players, we recommend listing them in the market instead of quick selling them. Everyone is on the grind, and many will take shortcuts by using the market.
Since the grind will be exhausting and the EA FC 25 menu navigation and constant loading will make it a nightmare, we recommend doing it through the EA FC 25 Companion on mobile or the Web App. It is easier to do SBCs through the companion, too!

To sum it all up, here is how your process for the EA FC 25 Grassroot Grind will go:
- Daily Bronze
- Super Daily Bronze Upgrade
- Purchase the one-time Touch Grass Pack in Store
- Exhaust your current inventory of bronze players in Grassroot Grind
- Open as many Premium Bronze Packs for 750 Coins as you need to hit the cap
- Quick Sell all non-player item
- List duplicate players in the Transfer Market
- You can also list any other special card like TOTW you pull to fund this process again (if you don’t need them, of course)
- Continue the Grassroot Grind
- Rinse, repeat!
After that comes the recycling part. Anything that is lower than 82 goes on the unlimited 78+ Rare Gold Player Pick and 81+ Rare Gold Player Pick. Higher ones will be better off with 83+ x14 and similar upgrades. From all this, underwhelming Grassroot Greats players or dupes can be tossed into the 88+ Grassroot Greats Trade-In.
That’s everything you need to know about grinding the Grassroot Grind pack in EA FC 25.
We were lucky enough to be able to complete all 50 of them per day with around 50,000 Coins or less in hand. So, even if you’ve spent most of your Coins in the previous promos, you should be able to do a decent number of these, even if you can’t do all. Trade some of your high-rated standard cards if you’re out of funds. Otherwise, just sit this one out and build for future promos.
