MLB The Show 25 is scheduled to release on March 18th, with early access starting March 14th. With the release so close, we are starting to get more details about the new title.
One of the more anticipated aspects of the game every year is who the new legends will be for the game. MLB The Show is continuously adding past stars and icons into the game, and they’ve announced a few new legends already.
All Confirmed Legends In MLB The Show 25
Manny Ramirez
The Red Sox star slugger will be added to the iteration of the game. Manny racked up 555 home runs and 1831 RBIs with a .312/.411/.588 slash line in during his 19-year career. While he may never get into the Hall of Fame due to a couple of positive PED tests, becoming a legend in MLB The Show is also an honor (though he’d definitely prefer the HOF).
Roger Clemens
He was also a star for the Boston Red Sox (although his and Manny’s tenures did not overlap), the Yankees, Blue Jays, and Astros. Clemens was a dominant force on the mound for over two decades, racking up 354 wins and 4672 strikeouts. He had a career ERA of just 3.12 and would have made the Hall of Fame if not for PED allegations.
James Bell
Nicknamed “Cool Papa,” Bell was a Negro Leagues superstar and a member of the Hall of Fame. Bell played 21 seasons and slashed .325/.394/.446 in his career, as well as racking up 20 wins on the mound. He was a St. Louis Star for the first half of his career before playing for the Pittsburgh Crawfords and Homestead Grays, and he played one season with the Chicago American Giants.
